Paul, I was bartending at one of the tents by the Harley Stage the night you were here for Summerfest (7/3/08) I loved your performance very, very much! You are a beautiful man! May God continue to bless you in everything you do! Love, your new fan!

Excellent show the other night at Jammin Java in Virginia. It was great to be able to talk with Paul and Billy. We made your show at the Ellington in Virginia a few weeks ago and this was great seeing you do an acoustic show. Come back to Virginia again.....

Hi there Paul & Billy-it was great to see you at the Iron Horse last week. All the people we brought with us loved you, too, especially our daughter. We look forward to seeing you in August in Cape Cod!

Well, I have to admit that I have a bruise on my right ear from trying to block out the blood-pressure-raising sounds of the woman next to me who felt it appropriate to talk and/or sing and/or make calls on her phone non-stop during the length of your performance last night at Jammin' Java. Suggesting that she keep it to herself did no good. But please don't cross No.Va. off your list of places to play based on last night's crowd. Those of us enlightened enough to shut up and listen appreciated the intimate setting for your beautiful acoustical set. If you'll come back, we promise to help spread the word better--and pack the place. (And maybe figure out a way to screen out people who feel compelled to perform during the performance!?)

Hi Paul,
I just heard and read your story on ThisIBelieve. It's amazing and I totally agree. I felt like you expressed what I couldn't have so well, but those were mine thoughts too.
Wish you all the best, god bless you!

We are all products of our upbringing... some folks just express their past experiences more than others.
This I Believe poignantly explains the roots of PT's church and the foundation of many of your lyrics. You have a rare and special talent for weaving religious beliefs and nomenclature into everyday life.
I'm a BELIEVER in the church of PT!
When are you coming to FTW? (NOT Dallas!)

Dangit - Ron from Tokyo stole my line - I was sitting here listening to the new album and thinking - dang - I'm getting goosebumps.

To the ex-Paul Thorn fan. I just can't see someone with the name snakecharmer being upset about someone joking about church. Even God has a sense of humor.

Dude! Listening to your essay gave me goosebumps. I'm here in my studio in Tokyo shouting "Amen, brother!" (ha-ha) You been blessed with a big heart Paul. I had heard you with Bob Edwards, watched your fights, listened to your music and immediately became a fan... Anyway, continued blessings to you, your family, and your work.

Thank you so much for your "This I Believe" essay. It was such a beautiful affirmation. And just one more confirmation of why I like you and your music. I've seen you 'live' at the Live oak Music Festival and in my home town, hear you all the time on KPIG.
