I was recently turned on to you by a music loving friend and I have to say it is the best "gift" I've received in a long while. Your music is motivational to me. When I'm down, it picks me up. When I'm up, it just makes me better. I can't wait to catch you live. By the way, I've passed on the "turn on" to several others. Keep it up.

I see that you are playing a private gig in Redmond, Oregon in July. Will you do any public gigs here while you are in our neighborhood?
Thanks,
Chris

Hoping you can squeeze a Nashville show into your schedule. We had Randy Rogers and Wade Bowen in town and Wade covered Mood Ring. Don't worry, he gave you credit!
The last show you did at 3rd and Lindsley a while back was great. Please come back soon.

Paul,
I loved your performances on the Sandy Beach Cruise. I hope you can perform next year. We need someone to keep Fred Eaglesmith in line.

From an old "Club" fighter way back when
to a Resonator and Lap Steel Luthier almost in his sixties today I just want to say; I love your music and your attitude. I described you to a friend of mine down in Florida (a retired Army Chaplain) like this: "He's an interesting guy. Such a strange dichotomy of emotions, at times, from the same individual. I think he (and by "he" I mean his music) appeals to me because he is so open with his feelings. And his ability to share, or maybe divulge, those feelings in his music just makes him more human. We all have those same divergent feelings inside us at times. He simply expresses those opposite "ends of the spectrum" eloquently in the simplest words and terms.
It's a gift I suppose ... or perhaps "drain bamage" from too many rounds in the ring. Either way he seems to open secret windows to everybody's "sometimes I feel this way myself" feelings. The ability to go from "Joanie", "Neanderthal" and "Great Day" to "What Have You Done", "Things Left Undone" and "I Don't Want to Know" speaks volumes about his song-writing talents and categorize him definitively as nothing less than a true anomoly."

I had the pleasure of seeing Paul Thorn perform in Houston on 1/28 (which happened to be my birthday). It was only my second time to see him, but I am now a fan forever, and will not miss him again when he's in Houston, or anywhere close. His songs just blow me away, and it's so much fun to laugh out loud at his banter between songs. It doesn't hurt that he is beyond cute!
Thanks, Paul, for great birthday memories.
